Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have officially broken up, at least according to sources who spoke to E! News in an article published on Friday evening.
According to E!’s Insiders, the couple decided to be just friends and have “a lot of love and respect for each other,” but decided their schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
“The divorce is moving ahead with Kanye,” a source added. “[Kanye and Kim] are happily co-parenting.”

Just this week, multiple sources were talking about how in love Pete and Kim are despite their long distance relationship (he’s in Australia filming a movie). On August 1, a source told E! News that “The distance hasn’t been an issue for Kim and Pete’s relationship while he’s been away filming. They are still going strong and making it work.” That source noted that “when they are apart, they are in constant communication,” “FaceTime consistently,” and are “always getting quick phone calls in when they can.” They added that “Kim loves that he’s always making her laugh and he truly makes her day when they talk. She is still smitten over him and it just works for her.”
Meanwhile, a source told US Weekly literally two days ago that “Kim and Pete are in constant communication” and that “they send each other love notes while the other is sleeping and FaceTime whenever their schedules link up.” This source added that “the distance has been hard,” but even “communicating long-distance is exciting” for these two, and they “can’t wait until they’re in the same place again.”
In other words, this split—which has yet to be confirmed by Pete or Kim, FYI!—has come out of nowhere.
